Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Junior Security Analyst to support client-facing security tasks across engineering and operations, ensuring security and FISMA compliance for client cloud environments. You will analyze control implementations, maintain security program documentation, and assist with remediation and testing using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Burp Suite, Snyk, and AWS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
1–2 years of security analysis experience.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Experience working directly with clients.
Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
Experience with creating and maintaining detailed documentation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Security+, or equivalent security certification.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Responsibilities

1-2 years of IT security experience including work with JIRA, Confluence, Burp Suite, Snyk, AWS, Splunk.
Follow NIST SP 800-37 Rev.2 Risk Management Framework and associated standards.
Maintain security program documentation (policies, procedures, standards).
Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
Analyze security findings and update security documentation (POAM, SSP).
