Cadmus seeks a junior security analyst to support client-facing security, engineering, and operations tasks, focusing on cloud security and FISMA compliance for client systems. The role will involve analysis of security controls, development and maintenance of security program documentation, and involvement in security testing and remediation activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
1–2 years of experience in security analysis work.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Experience working directly with clients.
Ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver within deadlines.
Experience with creating and maintaining detailed documentation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent multitasking skills.
Security+, or equivalent security certification.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust is required.

Responsibilities

Client-facing responsibilities spanning security analyst, engineering, and operations tasks.
Ensure security and FISMA compliance of client systems in the cloud.
Analyze security control implementations and assessment findings.
Develop and maintain security program documentation.
Perform security testing and vulnerability scanning.
Operate security systems and assist with remediation of findings.
Monitor security events using SIEM platforms like Splunk.
Support SAFe, DevSecOps practices and GitHub workflows.
Contribute to security policy, standards, and procedures.
