Job summary

Cadmus Group is looking for a Junior Security Analyst to support client-facing security, engineering, and operations activities. You will help ensure FISMA compliance for client cloud systems and perform security testing, vulnerability scanning, and remediation tasks.

Strong writing and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and manage documentation. 1–2 years of security experience and a Security+ or equivalent certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 1–2 years of security analysis experience.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Experience working with clients.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Security analyst tasks, security testing, and remediation support.
• Develop and maintain security program documentation (policies, procedures, standards).
• Analyze security control implementations and assessment findings.
• Work on cloud security with AWS and related services.
• Monitor security events with SIEM tools like Splunk.
• Collaborate across IT, engineering, and operations teams.
