Job summary

ePlus Technology, inc. is seeking a Managing Security Consultant to lead security advisory services for a defined geography and drive growth in security program services.

You will define service offerings, guide a team, and oversee engagements with regional sales to align client needs with risk-based security solutions. You will develop tailored engagements, produce detailed deliverables, and mentor staff while advancing marketing and practice development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Cyber Security and/or Computer Science)
• 5 to 10 years of applicable Security Consulting experience
• Hold certifications commensurate with the technology and solutions focused on
• Security Consulting experience
• Solutions selling sales cycle understanding
• Generating and presenting customer facing presentations
• Familiar with account planning, pipeline management and forecasting
• Ability to draft/compile well written statements of work and customer deliverables
• Advanced written and oral communication skills
• Seasoned in technical strategy and architecture steering, review, and documentation
• Well‑versed in threat modeling and attack frameworks
• Deep knowledge of industry standard program frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and PCI
• Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules of client and project needs
• Willingness to work extended hours, as needed
• Able to discuss and sell Security Consulting engagements, based on Customer needs
• Able to take ownership of closing and completing these engagements
• Promote an environment of inclusivity and respect, valuing diverse perspectives and encouraging open dialogue among all team members
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and positive change within the organization

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the security advisory and consulting services for an assigned geography.
• Develop, manage, and enable a team of security consultants, contractors and partners to achieve utilization targets and business goals.
• Lead engagements as a subject matter expert to deliver client projects; lead meetings, track tasks, and present deliverables to stakeholders.
• Conduct program assessments and measure effectiveness against defenses, controls, and industry frameworks.
• Develop tailored consulting engagements based on client maturity, risk, and budget.
• Produce comprehensive service engagement deliverables detailing execution, deficiencies, impact, and remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales to grow existing and new customers for security services.
• Establish credibility with sales and customers as a risk-focused security consultant; present core offerings.
• Conduct customer-facing presentations on core capabilities and offerings.
• Assist sales with account planning, security requirements, and recommended solutions.
• Contribute to marketing and Practice development through research, blogs, webinars, and templates.
• Mentor team members and foster client relationships with guidance and support.
• Lead scoping/reviews with sales to finalize services proposals and SoWs.
• Serve as SME for proposed services and collaborate with other teams on opportunities.
• Share knowledge with solution architects and sales on discoveries and lessons learned.
• Assist in resolving customer satisfaction issues and developing remediation plans.
• Identify new product/services opportunities for growth and development.
• Complete trainings and maintain relevant certifications as requested.
