Job summary

ePlus is seeking a Managing Security Consultant - West (Req #1445) in Irvine, CA, to lead security advisory services and drive revenue in the customer portfolio. The role combines program management, technical guidance, and leadership of a security team for client engagements.

You will shape offerings, mentor staff, assist with pre-sales activities, and deliver high-impact security assessments and recommendations across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Cyber Security and/or Computer Science).
• 5 to 10 years of applicable Security Consulting experience.
• Security Consulting experience; solutions selling and client-facing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the security advisory and consulting services across an assigned geography.
• Develop and manage a team of security consultants, contractors, and partners to achieve utilization targets and business goals.
• Lead engagements as SME to deliver client projects and present deliverables to stakeholders.
• Conduct program assessments and measure defenses, controls, and alignment to security frameworks.
• Develop tailored consulting engagements based on client maturity, risk, and budget.
• Produce comprehensive service engagement deliverables detailing execution, deficiencies, impact, and remediation.
• Collaborate with regional sales to grow existing accounts and win new security engagements.
• Establish credibility with sales and customers as a risk-focused security consultant.
• Lead customer-facing presentations on core security capabilities and offerings.
• Assist sales with account planning and gathering security requirements.
