Job summary

Allied Universal in Sulphur, LA is seeking a Security Officer Access Support Driver to safeguard personnel and visitors at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will manage site entry, verify badges, monitor access points and provide customer service while supporting a secure environment.

As a full-time driver, you will follow site policies, complete routine patrols, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor records, and control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Screen personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries as directed, and report access irregularities or prohibited items through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, business locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
