Allied Universal in Sulphur, LA is hiring a Security Officer Facility Access Driver. This full-time role focuses on managing site entry, verifying credentials, monitoring access points, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors at a chemical/petrochemical site.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, relevant security experience, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Pay is $15.50 per hour with daytime schedule variations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of the job.
• 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain logs, issue/collect access credentials, report discrepancies.
