Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Visitor Checkin Driver in Sulphur, LA. In this role you will safeguard clients at a chemical/petrochemical site, manage access, verify credentials, and provide courteous customer service while supporting site operations.

This full-time, daytime to overnight schedule includes multiple shifts. You will join a team guided by values such as agility, reliability, and integrity, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of the job location.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a chemical and petrochemical location, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, business locations, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Report unusual activity, access-control concerns, and facility conditions to site leadership and/or appropriate emergency personnel.
