Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Facility Access Driver in Sulphur, LA. The role focuses on controlling site entry, verifying credentials, and monitoring access points at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will drive as needed while delivering professional, community‑minded security service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Verify identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting access to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs, issue and collect access credentials, and report discrepancies.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations.
