Job summary

Allied Universal in Whitakers, NC is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Access Management. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors at a manufacturing location.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, issuing passes, and maintaining logs. A minimum of 6 months security experience and valid CPR/First Aid certification are preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, issue passes, and maintain access logs.
• Control entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries per site procedures; escalate discrepancies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations per reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
