Job summary

Vantage Point Retirement Living in Exton, PA, is seeking a Security Part Time (Every Friday 12 am - 8 am) to help ensure the safety of our facility, residents, staff, and guests. The role includes patrolling grounds, inspecting for hazards, and responding to incidents in a compassionate environment for seniors.

The position emphasizes independent work, strong customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of security and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in working with seniors is preferred.
• Customer service experience is important.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and security inspections.
• Patrol community buildings and grounds as scheduled.
• Report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and unsecured doors.
• Inspect and report all dangerous conditions and any damaged equipment or property.
• Investigate and report unlawful activity, safety hazards, incidents.
• Respond to security calls and complaints; take appropriate action.
• Secure community buildings according to policy.
• Notify police or fire department as needed.
• Sound fire alarms in emergencies.
• Complete housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Answer community phones.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description of responsibilities:

• Conduct safety and security inspections
• Patrol community buildings and grounds as scheduled
• Report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and unsecured doors
• Inspect and report all dangerous conditions and any damaged or defective equipment, machinery, and property
• Investigate and report unlawful activity, safety hazards, incidents and suspicious occurrencesL
• Respond to all security calls and complaints; take appropriate action
• Secure community buildings according to policy and community expectations
• Notify police or fire department in situations where their emergency response is needed
• Sound fire alarm in the case of fire emergency
• Complete housekeeping duties as assigned
• Answer Community phones
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required experience:

• One Year Job Related Experience Preferred
