Job summary

Vantage Point Retirement Living in Exton, PA is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift to advocate for residents and support the care team. You will ensure regulatory compliance, supervise medication administration, and promote a culture of safety and respect.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license with 2+ years in senior care, demonstrates strong communication and leadership, and can manage multiple priorities in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state.
• Minimum 2 years’ licensed nursing experience in senior care or long-term care.
• Competence in assessment, injections, medication administration, follow-up and triage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local nursing regulations.
• Collaborate with administration to protect resident and staff health and safety.
• Oversee infection control practices.
• Safely distribute and administer medications and wound care per state rules.
• Identify residents' ongoing needs and adjust care plans as required.
• Communicate with families about changes in care.
• Ensure med-techs and resident assistants complete assignments timely.
• Respond promptly to emergent issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description of responsibilities:

• Ensure community follows all federal, state, local laws and regulations as it pertains to clinical care

• Partners with administration to maintain resident and team member health and safety

• Oversees infection control practices

• Responsible for the safe and efficient distribution/administration of medications, injections, nebulizers, and moderate wound care per state regulations

• Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents

• Maintains communication with residents’ families and/or responsible parties regarding changes in care or health concerns.

• Ensure med-techs and resident assistants complete their assignments in a timely and appropriate manner

• Respond immediately to all emergent issues

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required experience:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Nurse or Registered Nurse per state regulations

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a licensed nurse in senior care, home health or a long-term care setting

• Demonstrated competence in assessment skills, injections, medication administration, follow-up, and triage
