Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a full-time security professional to monitor premises, manage access, and patrol client sites while delivering excellent customer service.

The position offers an hourly wage of $19.00 with varied shifts, including early mornings and rotating schedules. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a HS diploma or GED, and be able to work independently and calmly under pressure.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be comfortable with prolonged walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Process delivery vehicles.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Security - Full Time

Primary Location: Rio Rancho, NM

Wage: $19.00/HR

Schedules:

• Mon - Fri: 0500 - 1300 HRS
• Sun - Tues (with a rotating Wed): 0800 - 2000 HRS

Our Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
