Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Santa Fe, NM is hiring for a full-time security position. The role involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling client sites to maintain a safe environment and enforce site regulations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of security experience, a Level 1 Guard Card, and the ability to work Mon-Fri 8:00–17:00. Wages are $20.10 per hour with benefits and paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 1 year of security experience.
• Level 1 Guard Card License.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Schedule: Mon - Fri: 0800 - 1700

Our Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
