Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for our clients. The role involves access control, patrolling, and enforcing site regulations while delivering professional customer service.

You will work Sat-Mon shifts 0700-1500 or 1500-2300, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement. Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Driver Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Albuquerque, NM

Wage: $18.65/HR

Schedule: Sat - Mon: 0700 - 1500 OR 1500 - 2300

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
