Job summary

BBVA USA in New York seeks a seasoned securitized products salesperson to lead client coverage for new issue and secondary ABS products. You will develop relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, and banks, coordinating with the ABS Trading, syndicate and origination teams to present compelling ideas.

The role requires 12+ years in securitized products, FINRA licenses, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in securitized products role at a financial institution active in ABS
• Proven track record of revenue generation and client relationship building
• Strong communication and presentation skills for BBVA senior management and risk partners
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus but not required
• Active FINRA licenses (SIE, 7, 63) as applicable

Responsibilities

• Develop securitized products distribution platform with management
• Maintain and deepen relationships with institutional clients (asset managers, hedge funds, insurers, pension funds, banks)
• Act as primary client contact for ABS products, relay market information and respond to inquiries
• Collaborate with ABS Trading, syndicate and origination to present trade ideas and value propositions
• Manage client activity, identify future sales opportunities, and provide tailored solutions
• Stay current on investor sentiment, macro events, rates, and regulatory changes
• Support new issue and secondary ABS products with feedback and client orders
• Nurture relationships with trading desks and PMs to maximize inquiries and BBVA’s agenda
• Client onboarding and annual KYC, arrange meetings and industry events
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and BBVA policies
