Job summary

Spectrum provides treatment and detention support for youth ages 12-20 in a highly secure facility. The Facility Manager will supervise all staff on their shift, ensure mandated ratios, and complete required documentation while coordinating with the Center Director.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to write clearly across departments to keep operations running smoothly and in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years in a child-caring setting.
• Alternative: 2 years college plus 3 years in a child-caring setting.
• Alternative: high school diploma plus 4 years in a child-caring setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all support personnel and operations on designated shift.
• Maintains mandated staff ratios and completes required documentation.
• Provides daily shift reports to the Center Director and acts as liaison in their absence.
• Ensures compliance with SJJS procedures, DHHS regulations, and licensing standards.
