Job summary

Iron Mountain in Lees Summit, MO is hiring a dedicated Warehouse/Record Center Specialist to safeguard customer assets and manage secure storage containers within the operations team. Must obtain Public Trust Clearance and maintain accuracy in inventory and security.

The role involves processing customer orders with the Safekeeper system, handling roughly 200 boxes daily, performing physical logistics, and upholding safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.
• Must obtain/maintain Public Trust Clearance.
• Strong knowledge of basic computer-related equipment, data entry, and inventory accuracy.
• Proven ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds and repetitive motions.
• High School diploma or equivalent with proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill customer orders by utilizing the Safekeeper system to accurately scan carton barcodes and locations, managing an average of 200 secure storage boxes daily for retrieval or return.
• Execute all physical logistics, including loading/unloading trailers, moving, weighing, sorting, and disassembling items, while using necessary tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security protocols by maintaining a clean, secure work area and safeguarding customer information.
