Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Record Center Specialist to join our Operations team. You will maintain the security and integrity of customer assets while efficiently processing and managing secure storage containers within our record center.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a warehouse or records center environment, strong data entry and inventory accuracy, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds while using scanners and related tools.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of basic computer-related equipment, data entry, and industry tools with excellent organization and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Proven ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds, and remaining stationary or performing repetitive motions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill customer orders by scanning carton barcodes and locations using the Safekeeper system, managing an average of 200 secure storage boxes daily.
• Execute physical logistics, including loading/unloading trailers, moving, weighing, sorting, and disassembling items, using necessary tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, secure work area and safeguard customer information, ensuring compliance with security protocols.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

• Process and fulfill customer orders by utilizing the Safekeeper system to accurately scan carton barcodes and locations, managing an average of 200 secure storage boxes daily for retrieval or return.
• Execute all physical logistics, including safely loading and unloading trailers, moving, weighing, sorting, and disassembling items, while safely operating necessary tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security protocols by maintaining a clean, secure work area and rigorously safeguarding customer information at all times.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

• One to two (1-2)years of experience in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of basic computer-related equipment, data entry, and industry tools, paired with excellent organization and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Proven ability in safely performing physical tasks, including regularly lifting up to 60 pounds, and remaining stationary or performing repetitive motions for extended periods (e.g., climbing, stooping, pushing, and pulling).
