Job summary

Nakupuna Companies seeks a Facilities, Logistics, and Property Coordinator to support the DPAA East office. The role coordinates day-to-day facility operations, work orders, logistics services, and government property accountability, with on-site support for SCIF activities.

Responsibilities include managing maintenance requests, inspections, asset records, escorting uncleared personnel, and coordinating with DPAA, WHS, JBG Smith, and GSA to ensure audit readiness and security compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of professional experience in facilities coordination, logistics, property accountability, admin support, or related field.
• Experience using work order, service request, asset tracking, or similar applications.
• Ability to organize competing requests, maintain records, follow procedures, and act with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, problem-solving, attention to detail, and judgment.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Operations and Work Order Management: primary point of contact for DPAA East facility requests for fourth- and eighth-floor offices.
• Receive service requests from DPAA personnel; identify deficiencies via weekly inspections.
• Enter, track, update, and close work orders in JBG Smith, WHS, GSA, or DPAA systems; maintain logs.
• Inspect spaces weekly for HVAC issues, leaks, noises, lighting, carpet, and other deficiencies; report findings.
• Coordinate maintenance visits and facility access to minimize disruption to mission operations.
• Represent DPAA at tenant/facility coordination meetings; document decisions and actions.
