Job summary

Digital Consultants is recruiting for a Senior Secure Software Engineer to lead secure development across full-stack applications. The role requires Top Secret/SCI clearance and hands-on experience with secure coding, SBOM, and secure dependency management.

You will work in a hybrid Quantico, VA environment, meeting onsite 1-2 times weekly and collaborating across the Federal, civilian, and private sectors. A strong emphasis is placed on governance, code quality, and cross-language guidance.

Qualifications

• Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI.
• High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience).
• Expertise in Secure Software Development across a full-stack domain, including database (relational and NoSQL) and application development (compiled and interpreted languages).
• Expertise in secure coding practices (including code quality, Zero Trust, SBOM, and secure dependency management).
• Expertise with artifact management toolsets (Nexus, Artifactory, NuGet, etc) and SAST/DAST code quality platforms (SonarQube, Aikido, CodeQL, or similar) and Git-oriented supporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Mission Application developers to build a culture of compliance.
• Collaborate with SMEs across software domains to maintain secure development practices.
• Support secure software engineering processes across multiple languages and hosting environments.
