Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions seeks a Systems Engineer SME with TS/SCI to build, maintain, and guide integration with hosting environments for NCIS Mission Applications in a Quantico, VA hybrid setting. The role requires strong Linux/Windows admin skills, CI/CD, IaC, and DevSecOps maturity across on-prem and multiple clouds.

Qualifications

• Linux and Windows systems administration experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows OS to ensure reliability and security.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Ansible, and related tools.
• Configure and manage container orchestration across AWS Fargate, Azure, and RKE2 environments.
• Implement service mesh and discovery with Consul, ZooKeeper, or AWS Cloud Map.
• Develop IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu to automate provisioning and deployments.
• Embed DevSecOps practices and automated compliance across the SDLC.
• Support deployments across on-prem, commercial cloud, FedRAMP and hybrid frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and cybersecurity to design scalable, secure architectures.
• Provide guidance on solution architecture and regulatory compliance during deployments.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive reliability improvements.
• Support security accreditation activities and address vulnerabilities.
• Create automation scripts and documentation for repeatable deployments.
• Identify opportunities to mature automation and deployment processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical applications.
