Job summary

MITRE is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support high-priority Intelligence Community initiatives. This role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and will work on secure, scalable applications in classified environments.

The candidate will design and deploy full stack solutions, mentor developers, and drive DevSecOps practices. On-site in McLean, VA or Bethesda, MD with potential travel within the National Capital Region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's; or PhD with 3 years experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Proficient in front-end and back-end languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go.
• Proficient in SQL queries and database schemas.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IC sponsors and MITRE teams to translate mission requirements into scalable architectures.
• Design, develop, and deploy secure front-end and back-end solutions in classified environments.
• Improve architecture, platforms, and developer workflows with secure coding and reviews.
• Lead or support enterprise-grade apps addressing cross-IC integration, data visualization, and analytics.
• Develop robust APIs, DB schemas, and backend services for high-performance security.
