Job summary

Corvid Technologies is expanding its Missile Defense simulation support. We seek a Cloud Networking Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, high-performance networks spanning on-premises data centers, public clouds, and enclave domains in Huntsville, AL.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud networking, SDN, and container-native networking within Kubernetes, with close collaboration across security, DevOps, and application teams to ensure robust, compliant network access and routing.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience setting up restricted/compliant networks and secure inter-domain/enclave routing.
• Hands-on cloud networking experience (VPC, VNets, peering, transit gateways).
• Experience with SDN and Kubernetes networking; familiarity with CNI plugins such as Calico, Cilium, Multus is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, CKAD/CKA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and configure restricted, secure inter-domain networks.
• Build and manage cloud networking infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Deploy and maintain SDN platforms and network appliances; integrate with Kubernetes via CNI plugins.
• Connect remote cloud instances to on-premise data centers with optimized routing.
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to define network access policies.
