Vervic Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, high‑performance networks across on‑prem data centers, public clouds, and enclave domains.

You will work primarily at customer sites to ensure resilient routing and policy enforcement. The role requires hands‑on experience with cloud networking, SDN, and container‑native networking in Kubernetes environments, plus strong Linux multicast/UDP knowledge.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional networking experience in cloud and SDN environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking services (VPC, VNets, peering, transit gateways).
• Experience with Kubernetes networking via CNI plugins and containerized environments.
• Experience designing secure, high‑performance networks across on‑prem and cloud.
• Strong Linux OS networking knowledge and multicast/UDP handling.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure networks across on‑prem, cloud, and enclave domains.
• Configure cloud networking infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and multicast traffic handling.
• Deploy SDN platforms and hardware‑defined networking solutions.
• Integrate network services with Kubernetes using CNI plugins.
• Connect remote cloud instances to on‑prem data centers and optimize latency.
• Automate provisioning with IaC tools and implement monitoring and alerting.
