Job summary

HumanTouch in McLean, VA, seeks an Integration Engineer to build secure, reliable data and file exchanges between Government customers’ systems and enterprise applications in cloud environments. You will develop reusable connectors, services, and integration apps that acquire, transform, validate, and deliver data for customer solutions.

You'll own integration behavior and reliability, including secure coding, testing, deployment, and production troubleshooting within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Experience building API-based integrations including authentication, data mapping, transformation, and error handling.
• Proficiency with cloud environments, storage, IAM, and secure connectivity.
• Hands-on DevSecOps practices: version control, automated tests, security checks, CI/CD.
• Ability to design and implement reusable connectors and integration services.
• Experience testing data exchanges, reconciliation, and failure scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable connectors, integration services, and automation using APIs and approved interfaces.
• Build and maintain automated file transfers between systems with secure handling of permissions and failures.
• Create data mappings, transformation rules, validation checks, and interface behavior.
• Implement secure authentication, credential handling, input validation, and encryption as needed.
• Develop unit tests and integration tests; support acceptance testing of data exchanges.
• Maintain operational logs, monitoring, and rollback procedures; troubleshoot production integrations.
