Guidehouse is seeking a mid‑level Application Integration Engineer in McLean, VA to deliver secure integrations across legacy and cloud platforms. You will develop Java/Spring Boot RESTful APIs, configure AWS components, and connect Java and Python apps while aligning with federal security standards.

You’ll implement data transformation, orchestration, and event‑driven flows, working with architects, product owners, and security teams to ensure platform conformity and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field.
• 4–6 years in software engineering, integration, or API development.
• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and cloud‑native delivery.
• Experience with AWS services, security standards, and data integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java/Spring Boot RESTful APIs and cloud‑based integrations.
• Configure AWS integration components and support data exchanges.
• Implement secure API exposure, IAM, and authentication mechanisms.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, security, and vendors.
• Support CI/CD, testing, and operational runbooks for integrations.
