Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a seasoned Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and secure cloud-based systems for U.S. federal government missions. You will build IaC pipelines, deploy cloud-native apps in AWS, and automate operations with Bash, Python, and PowerShell.

Requirements include 3+ years in DevOps/cloud platform engineering, Linux admin (RHEL/CentOS), and CI/CD tooling. A DoD 8570/IAT Level II or higher certification is preferred, with a hybrid work model across the US.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in DevOps engineering or cloud platform engineering.
• 3 years of experience with RHEL/CentOS administration.
• 3 years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or similar) and CLI.
• 3 years of experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• 2 years of experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, and/or networking configurations.
• 3 years of experience with Bash, Python, or other scripting and automation technologies.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher or DoD 8140 equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud-based systems and applications, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build, deploy, and troubleshoot cloud-native applications in AWS environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell to streamline operations and deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements (NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, FedRAMP).
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain security controls including IAM, encryption, and network security.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services.
• Work with cloud-native tools to enhance capabilities and secure the platform.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the stack.
