Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a System Security Engineer to support cybersecurity and systems security engineering for naval platforms. You will coordinate with internal teams and OEMs to design secure architectures and ensure secure, resilient delivery to warfighters.

The role requires experience with RMF, NIST 800-53, STIG, and vulnerability management, and offers opportunities to advance DoW system security through lifecycle compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems security engineering and RMF for DoD programs.
• Experience delivering secure architectures across the platform lifecycle.
• Familiar with DoD RMF, NIST 800-53, STIG viewer, and eMASS.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning, remediation workflows, and risk assessments.
• Ability to coordinate with IT, risk, and operations teams to maintain secure environment.
• Eligible for TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support mission-critical cybersecurity and systems security engineering for naval platforms.
• Coordinate with inhouse teams and OEMs to plan secure solutions.
• Lead network design balancing security with operational needs.
• Apply zerotrust and threat mitigation practices to secure DoW systems.
• Ensure DoW security standards and lifecycle compliance.
