Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to identify tools, configurations, devices and applications needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best security strategy for mission-critical systems.

You will work on unmanned systems and Navy/Marine Corps operations, troubleshoot complex security challenges, implement infrastructure controls, and collaborate with teams to deliver resilient solutions for national security.

Qualifications

Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and DoN policy, including NIST and RMF.
Ability to interpret scan results and apply remediations.
HS diploma or GED.
CompTIA Security+ Certification

Responsibilities

Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation.
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.
