Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an experienced Information System Security Engineer to lead cybersecurity engineering across the full lifecycle for DoD collateral, SAP and SCI environments. You will ensure security requirements are integrated into architectures, designs, development, testing and sustainment, supporting RMF and JSIG accreditation.

You will conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling and risk assessments, develop security artifacts, and collaborate with ISSOs, ISSMs, SCAs,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience supporting classified programs (ISSO/ISSM/ISSE/SCA).
• Experience RMF activities with documentation in EMASS, SNOW or Xacta.
• Experience building or maintaining classified networks such as SIPRNet or CWAN.
• Ability to build and review SPLUNK dashboards, correlation searches and audit analysis.
• Ability to decompose RMF security requirements (DoD JSIG, DAAG, ICD-503) into technical solutions.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree; IAM Level III certification (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM).

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity engineering across the full system lifecycle for DoD collateral, SAP and SCI environments.
• Ensure security requirements are integrated into system architectures, designs, development, testing, and sustainment; support RMF and JSIG accreditation.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and technical risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain security artifacts (STIG checklists, control traceability, architecture diagrams).
• Assess system compliance, evaluate design alternatives, and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Support secure enclave integration (SIPRNet), boundary defenses, and Type 1 crypto devices.
• Collaborate with ISSOs, ISSMs, SCAs, and program stakeholders throughout system development.
