Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a System Security Engineer to advance expeditionary and maritime cybersecurity for Navy and Marine Corps programs. You will help design secure architectures, implement zero-trust concepts, and coordinate with in-house teams and OEMs to deliver secure, resilient systems for the fleet.

The role requires 5+ years in systems security engineering and RMF, DoD/Navy experience, and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with systems security engineering and RMF supporting DON or DoW programs
Experience with cybersecurity engineering and supporting analysis, design, integration, testing, and sustainment of secure architectures across the platform lifecycle, including evaluating system vulnerabilities and recommending mission‑focused mitigation strategies
Experience with DoW compliance frameworks and tools such as RMF, NIST 800-53, STIG viewer, and eMASS
Experience supporting vulnerability scanning, remediation workflows, and risk assessments
Ability to coordinate with and own IT, risk, and operations teams to maintain secure and compliant environment
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
