Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Security Engineer in Lexington Park, MD to secure unmanned and mission-critical systems for Navy and Marine Corps clients. You will assess vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and work across teams to strengthen cyber resilience.

The role requires experience with vulnerability scanning, RMF/NIST, and the ability to interpret scan results. A Secret clearance and relevant certifications are expected, with opportunities to grow technical expertise

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and DoN policy, including NIST and RMF.
• Ability to interpret scan results and apply remediations.
• Secret clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with other teams and communicate security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including detection and vulnerability management.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
• Leverage big data analytics to identify threats and indicators of compromise.
