Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to secure warfighter systems, assess vulnerabilities, and implement robust security controls across networks and applications in contested environments.

You will collaborate across teams, apply DoN policies and RMF/NIST frameworks, perform risk assessments, and leverage analytics to identify threats, with opportunities to grow and mentor others.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and DoN policy (NIST/RMF).
• Ability to interpret scan results and apply remediations.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships quickly and communicate security complexities to diverse audiences, including senior management.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and correlation of security events.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
• Leverage big data analytics and traditional security events to identify advanced threats.
