Job summary

Wake Technical Community College is seeking a Coordinator to administer and proctor assessments, professional licensure, and certification exams in a secure environment for multiple testing agencies. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and flexibility to work day, night, and one designated Saturday per month.

You will greet candidates, verify IDs, manage room setups, support both in-person and remote testing, and travel to offsite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to pass and maintain certifications for BEST Plus, Pearson Vue, GED, HiSET and TABE.
• Ability to work in a quiet library-style setting for long periods and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks-in candidates, verifies identification, and communicates exam protocols to test takers.
• Reviews candidate registrations for accuracy and requests revisions when needed.
• Sets up testing rooms and prepares materials for paper-pencil and computer-based testing.
• Administers private testing sessions with approved accommodations.
• Administers both in-person and remote testing sessions for College and Career Readiness students.
• Monitors testing room activity to prevent irregularities and relocates candidates as required.
• Travels to offsite locations and NC prisons/jails to administer exams as assigned.
• Documents and reports testing irregularities to vendors and test center staff.
