About the Role:

As a CBRE Sector Lead - Sr Finance Director, you will be responsible for developing and managing all departmental finance functions. This role involves maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls within the Financial Strategy and Operations department.

What you'll do:

1. Supervision and Staff Development: Provide supervision to employees, track training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring.
2. Team Coordination: Manage daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and set deadlines.
3. Financial Planning and Reporting: Plan, approve, and execute budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting.
4. Leadership and Strategy: Assist executive management in setting business direction, develop financial policies, and support business initiatives.
5. Project Oversight: Review and approve capex projects within company guidelines.
6. Performance Management: Drive financial and operational performance, lead by example, and model CBRE RISE values.
7. Negotiation and Problem Solving: Negotiate with stakeholders and resolve complex business issues using critical thinking.
8. Global Experience: This role requires international experience.

What you'll need:

1. Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management is preferred.
3. Strong communication skills for handling sensitive and complex information.
4. Leadership skills to motivate and guide teams across multiple disciplines.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
6. Excellent organizational and mathematical skills, capable of handling complex financial calculations.
7. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Compensation:

The salary range is $190,000 to $230,000 annually, depending on skills and experience. Successful candidates are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits.
