Community Action Redbridge is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and strengthen the VCSE sector in Redbridge. You will oversee a programme of sector support, connect organisations, and foster collaboration to shape local services and plans.
The role requires strategic thinking, leadership and partnership working with funders and public services, with a hybrid arrangement preferred (minimum three days in the office) to support teamwork and community impact.
Community Action Redbridge is looking for an experienced and ambitious Programme Manager to help strengthen and champion Redbridge's voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.
This is an exciting leadership role at the heart of our work to build a fairer and more inclusive borough. We believe thriving communities depend on a strong, connected and sustainable VCSE sector, and this role will play a key part in making that happen.
Working closely with VCSE organisations, partners and local stakeholders, you will lead a programme of support that helps the sector grow in confidence, resilience and influence. You will create opportunities for organisations to connect, collaborate and learn from one another, while ensuring their collective knowledge and experience helps shape local services and plans.
You will oversee and develop our existing sector support offer, while also working closely with our members to develop inclusive and representative networks that reflect the priorities of local organisations, encourage collaboration and shared learning, and enable the sector to speak with a stronger collective voice.
As a passionate advocate for communities and social change, you will work with funders, public sector partners and other stakeholders to raise the profile of the VCSE sector and secure the recognition, investment and support it needs. You will bring strong programme management skills, strategic thinking and a collaborative approach, along with a deep understanding of the sector's role in tackling inequalities and driving social change.
Please note that this role can be offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week in the office. As an organisation rooted in community, we believe that regular in-office presence is important to foster collaboration, connection and team cohesion.
Community Action Redbridge is a local infrastructure charity dedicated to building a fairer Redbridge where everyone and every community has an equal opportunity to thrive. At the heart of our work is a commitment to social justice and to tackling the root causes of inequality. We're passionate about shifting power, amplifying community voices, and working collaboratively to create social change.
