Job summary

KOMAN Holdings, LLC, wholly-owned by Natives of Kodiak, Inc., seeks a Sector Controller to manage sector financial activities and reporting for environmental and professional service contracts. You will partner with the KOMAN Holdings Controller and sector leadership to ensure timely, accurate reporting and support audits.

The role focuses on governing WIP, cost-plus contracts, and indirect cost pools across entities, with budget development, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5-8 years accounting experience with Federal Government contractor work.
• Experience with WIP schedules, cost-plus contracts, FAR compliance, and multi-entity setups.
• Experience in a DCAA-compliant system and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting for Federal Government environmental and professional service contracts in a multi-entity environment.
• Maintain and support DCAA-compliant accounting processes with accurate documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate responses to DCAA and third-party audits with schedules and management replies.
• Prepare ICS schedules and related incurred cost reporting requirements.
• Experience with Final Indirect Cost Rate Proposals per FAR proposals.
• Collaborate with General Managers on annual budgets and forecasts.
• Develop internal controls and improve procedures.
• Monitor performance, analyze variances, and report to stakeholders.
• Lead day-to-day Sector Accounting operations and support external audits and tax prep.
