Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Section Manager and CAM/IPT lead to manage a staff of engineers and oversee a defined engineering product development effort on a DoD program. You will guide cost, schedule, and technical performance, coordinating with program management, mission assurance, and supply chain to resolve complex issues on-site in Woodland Hills, CA.

The role requires strong leadership, a proven background in systems engineering and EVMS, and the ability to drive engineering excellence

Qualifications

• Eight years of engineering experience with a B.S. in a STEM discipline; six years with an M.S.; four years with a Ph.D.
• Minimum five years in systems engineering, integration, and/or test.
• Experience with EVMS/CAM principles or as CAM.
• Experience leading, supervising engineering staff.
• Experience with PLM/CM and MBSE environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, test and integration of hardware and software products/subsystems.
• Track cost and schedule performance (CAM) for electrical/mechanical design teams.
• Own technical quality and performance of the engineering content.
• Ensure adherence to engineering processes per company standards.
• Interface with Program Manager, SEIT Lead, Chief Engineer and IPT leads.
