RTX’s Naval Systems Department in the System Integration and Test discipline seeks a Section Leader to guide a team of engineers supporting SPY6 Radar, Ship, and Undersea systems. The role includes line management, hiring, mentoring, and daily program operations.

The position requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work onsite in MA locations with occasional travel. An active U.S.

Raytheon is seeking a Section Leader in the Naval Systems Department within the System Integration and Test (SI&T) discipline. The NS Department supports multiple contracts for SPY6 Radar, Ship, and Undersea Systems. As a Section Leader, the candidate will be expected to actively participate in NS leadership team goals and initiatives, support department hiring and program staffing, provide employee feedback and mentoring, and be actively involved in daily program operations. What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in system, software, integration, and/or test.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Past experience with team leadership.
• Experience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar budget tracking system.
• Experience with Raytheon’s Proposal Capture Process (development of Basis of Estimates, etc).
• Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
