Job summary

The West Virginia Housing Development Fund seeks a Section 8 - Manager in its Charleston office. You will oversee the Section 8 department, ensure HUD compliance, and coordinate with owners, project managers, and management agents to maintain timely voucher processing and rent adjustments.

Key duties include tracking HAP vouchers, contract renewals, renewals, and preparing financial reports while supervising staff and providing training on HAPs and HUD regs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business or Finance with 3+ years of related experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Section 8 Administration experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily functions of the Section 8 department.
• Track and process Section 8 HAP vouchers and renewals.
• Review HAP vouchers for HUD submission accuracy.
• Ensure TRACS compliance and notify when rent schedules are delinquent.
• Prepare monthly PBCA invoices and financial reports as requested.
• Provide training and technical assistance to owners, managers, and agents.
