AACPS in Anne Arundel County seeks a Facilitator: Section 504 who reports to the Principal and leads the Section 504 process, including initiation, review, re-evaluation and manifestation determination.

The role involves coordinating meetings, data collection, data entry in Tienet, staff development, and ensuring compliance with the Rehabilitation Act, with opportunities to collaborate across administrators, teachers and families.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in related field of education.
• Five (5) years successful classroom teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Section 504 law and processes.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and develop staff.

Responsabilidades

• Organizes, chairs and collects data on 504 process compliance.
• Schedules 504 meetings with a properly constituted team.
• Collects data and enters into Tienet.
• Reviews academic assessment reports for 504.
• Facilitates 504 team meetings and engages all members.
• Supports 504 plan development and related documentation.
• Maintains school-based 504 data system and records.
• Coordinate with 504 Resource Facilitator for audits.
