Department/Cluster: Bureau Support, Strategy and Planning Division, HA Head Office
Pay: HK$38,290 to HK$67,526 [HGPS point 15 to 27] per month (including Monthly Allowance)
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and grant management support to the research funds administered by the Research and Data Analytics Office including calls for applications, monitoring of funded projects and logistic support to outcome evaluation of completed projects.
Provide support to the electronic Grant Management System and Research Fund Secretariat (RFS) website at user level including but not limited to collecting user requirements, conducting User Acceptance Test (UAT) and coordinating UAT to be conducted by different stakeholders, preparing training manuals and conducting training to users, updating content of RFS website, and handling general enquiries.
Arrange and provide administrative support to review board/ committee meetings and assist in preparing meeting papers, PowerPoint and minutes.
Update Standard Operating Procedures, regular reports and statistics as well as handle enquiries relating to the research funds.
Assist in organisation of symposium, briefing sessions and other activities relating to promotion of the research funds and translation of research findings.
Perform any other duties assigned by senior officers.
Entry Requirements
A university degree or equivalent.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Preferable Attributes / Exposure
A university degree or above in health-related or management discipline.
Experience in grant management (e.g. processing research grant applications, compiling statistics, and managing research projects) as a funder.
Familiar with budget management, financial analysis and internal control processes in public organisations.
Experience in providing user support on using research grant management system such as submission of grant applications.
Proficiency in computing/PC skills including MS Office, Chinese word processing, basic visual design.
Experience in using Artificial intelligence (AI) tools to analyse data into useful information, streamline the workflow of research grant management, etc.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, responsible with good interpersonal and communication abilities.
Able to work independently and work under pressure.
