Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Transport Network Engineer to sustain and enhance DISA-GLOBAL network services at Scott AFB. You will design, deploy, and manage transport solutions using CIENA/Cisco platforms, DWDM, and related gear.

Requires active Secret clearance and DoD 8750 IAT II or equivalent. You will collaborate with government customers and vendors to ensure secure, reliable network operations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8750 IAT II or Security+ CE or equivalent.
• Experience with Optical transport networks and DWDM.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer transport network solutions for DoD environments.
• Deploy hardware and monitor traffic impacts on operations.
• Perform fault isolation and root cause analysis across transport platforms.
• Coordinate with vendors and government customers for resolution.
• Update incident tickets and MSS documentation with accuracy.
