Job summary

TIAG in Arlington, VA is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Office of Naval Research. The role requires an active Secret clearance and is onsite five days a week, focusing on Windows Server, AD, DNS, VMware, and hybrid cloud operations.

You will collaborate with cloud, network, and cybersecurity teams to maintain secure, highly available enterprise infrastructure in AWS and on premises, manage migrations, and contribute to planning, documentation, and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years of server/system administration experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, DNS, VMware.
• Cloud experience in AWS.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements and STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise Windows Server infrastructure.
• Support AWS EC2 workloads and on-premises integration including AD, DNS, and virtualization.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Network, Cybersecurity, and IT Operations teams to ensure security and availability.
• Lead patching, configuration management, and backup/recovery activities.
• Document configurations, changes, and incident resolutions; support RMF/ATO efforts.
