Job summary

TIAG in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and secure enterprise AWS infrastructure in support of ONR ITSS. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance and is onsite 5 days/week in Arlington.

The ideal candidate has hands-on AWS core services, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD, and cloud security experience to sustain DoD standards and RMF requirements while optimizing performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of IT infra/cloud engineering with AWS.
• Experience deploying, managing, and securing AWS services.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• CI/CD experience and scripting (Python/PowerShell).
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and operate IaC pipelines using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Ensure DoD security compliance and RMF alignment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across government teams.
