The Structures Company seeks a Structural Analysis-Stress Engineer to perform stress analysis on new airframe designs and update analyses for design changes. You will analyze subsystems, MRB cases, and installations using leading FEA tools and CATIA for design and analysis.
Active Secret clearance and ITAR compliance are required. The role requires strong UNIX/Linux skills and hands-on experience with NASTRAN, PATRAN, Abaqus, HyperMesh, TMP Vision, and CATIA V5/3DX.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
- Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR.
- Experience with NASTRAN and PATRAN FEA software.
- Experience with Abaqus.
- Experience with HyperMesh as pre-processor.
- Experience with TMP Vision for post-processing.
- Experience with CATIA V5/3DX.
- Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems.
- Ability to interpret detail, assembly and installation drawings/models.
- Airframe primary structure layout and sizing.
- Hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures.
