Job summary

AeroTEC's Seattle Engineering Center is seeking an Aerospace Engineer specializing in stress analysis to lead structural analyses of airframe components and to develop detailed FE models for new designs and modifications.

The role requires 8+ years of experience with metallic and composite structures, proficiency in NASTRAN/PATRAN/FEMAP and CATIA/NX CAD, and knowledge of FAR Part 23 and 25. This on-site, full-time position offers growth in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • Eight or more years of structural analysis experience (metallic and composite).
  • Knowledge of fuselage and wing analysis and system installation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analysis of Primary & Secondary Airframe Structures for new designs and modifications.
  • Develop detailed Finite Element Models based on requirements.
  • Develop stress analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with technical disciplines to ensure on-target deliverables.
  • Interrogate CAD models and use a PDM system.
  • Provide on-site support for modification implementation and flight tests.
  • Provide Production MRB support.
