Responsibilities

Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems and applications.
Guide multidisciplinary teams and provide strong technical leadership.
Direct planning, design, development, and utilization of software systems within time and budget constraints.
Collaborate with systems analysts, hardware engineers, programmers, and other stakeholders to define architecture and ensure performance and interface specifications.
Apply scientific analysis and mathematical modeling to evaluate software design decisions.
Oversee system installations and ensure adherence to software standards; monitor equipment functionality and drive process improvements.
May design and develop compilers, assemblers, utilities, and operating systems as required.
