Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions, Inc. in Maryland, seeks a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and secure enterprise cloud platforms in a DoD environment. You will build CI/CD pipelines, IaC, container orchestration, and DevSecOps practices to modernize mission-critical systems.

This on-site role at Fort Meade requires an active Secret clearance and 8+ years of related experience, with a strong focus on RMF/STIG compliance and collaboration with cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or systems automation.
• Experience supporting DoD or federal government environments.
• Active Secret clearance and DoD 8570/8140 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or similar.
• Build and maintain Docker and Kubernetes container environments.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure RMF/STIG compliance.
